Purchase Of Residential Property

S-MM2H holders can purchase residential property that is exempt from Foreign Investment Committee’s (FIC) approval. If you want to purchase in Kuching, the minimum price range is RM600,000. A purchase in any other district requires a minimum of RM500,000.

Property values in Kuching are very affordable and the property hubs that are being developed within shopping mall precincts and within the neighbourhoods of international schools or medical clinics and hospitals are very modern in design and technology. Domestic Help

The S-MM2H program will assist you to apply for a domestic helper, such as a maid or gardener, from those countries who have an agreement with Malaysia and following the employment guidelines set by the Immigration Department.

Children's Education

Children under 18 years of age can be included as dependents under the S-MM2H program. While continuing their education in Sarawak they are required to apply for a Student Pass and they must be medically insured for the duration of their stay.

Permission To Work, Be Employed Or Involved In Active Investment And Business

This is for professionals and/or investors who are approved by the Sarawak Government to operate here. They are subject to certain terms and conditions.

Permission To Partially Withdraw From Fixed Deposit (FD) Account

After 2 years you can withdraw up to 40% of your FD to contribute towards the following costs while living in Sarawak: the purchase of a car or home in Sarawak, medical bills in Sarawak, or the education fees at an institution in Sarawak.
